Maiden Quebec se démarque en couvrant la discographie complète d'Iron Maiden! Aux « classics » qui sont partie prenantes de nos concerts, des chansons plus récentes y sont intégrées, pour le plus grand plaisir des fans ! Ajouté quelques chansons surprises pour les connaisseurs n'étant pas interprétées par la plupart des groupes hommages et vous avez tout ce qu'il faut pour en faire une soirée mémorable ! La première mouture de Maiden Québec a été crée en 2008 par Jef Rastoldo, le batteur original du groupe. Après quelques concerts prometteurs, le groupe fut stoppé dans sa progression par des désaccords sur les futures directions à prendre et qui finirent par mener à la séparation du groupe. Une leçon important fut tirée de cet échec : L'amitié, le respect et l'Amour d'Iron Maiden devra être une priorité absolue! C'est avec cette philosophie que Jef décida de relancer le groupe en 2011 ! Steven Bergeron, guitariste émérite et expérimenté dans des groupes de reprises « classic » Rock fut le premier recruté. Se joint ensuite le guitariste Leandro Alves (Pagè), originaire du Brésil et nouvellement arrivé au Quebec, qui avait joué dans plusieurs hommages, principalement a Metallica et Motörhead. Pat Lalonde, bassiste et chanteur ayant joué dans un hommage a Kiss ainsi que dans quelques groupes de reprises classic rock vint tenter sa chance comme chanteur, avec grand succès! Math Gagnon, bassiste chevronné et versatile, également membre de « Insurgent Inc. » se joint au groupe! En Octobre 2014, Maiden Québec a eu le privilège et l'honneur d'être choisi comme la bande de Blaze Bayley pour sa tournée canadienne. Ce était une tournée extraordinaire pour le groupe, où ils pourraient partager la scène avec l'un des ex-chanteur de Iron Maiden et aussi jouer à l'extérieur de la province de Québec pour la première fois. En Décembre 2014, Jef Rastoldo décide de prendre sa retraite en tant que batteur, laissant à la bande la responsabilité de poursuivre son idée, en gardant la même passion dans ce travail comme il l'a fait au cours de ces années. En Janvier 2015, après quatre années le groupe a dû faire face pour la première fois le remplacement d'un membre. Après les auditions avec batteurs vraiment qualifiés, Maiden Québec a trouvé le batteur Andy Leandri, qui restait avec le groupe jusqu'à Julliet 2016. Marc Prevost arrive après le departure d'Andy. En Septembre 2016, Mathieu et Leandro joignaient encore une fois Blaze Bayley pour une tournée cannadienne. En Decembre 2016, encore une changement dans le groupe, Steve Bergeron part après 5 ans. David Chartrand joint le groupe en Janvier 2017. Il reste avec Maiden Québec jusqu'à Mais 2018. Charles-Etienne Lavoie remplace David en Juin 2018. La table était mise pour un hommage qui allait grandir avec des valeurs simples : Le plaisir de jouer et faire honneur a Iron Maiden! |

Maiden Quebec is highlighted for covering all Iron Maiden's Discography! From the "classics", always present on our concerts, till the most recent songs, for the pleasure of Iron Maiden's fans! Maiden Québec also adds to the set list some surprise songs, which are not usually played by the most part of the others tribute bands, with this you get everything you need to have a remarkable evening! The first Maiden Québec formation backs the year of 2008, the group was created by Jef Rastoldo, band's original drummer. After some concerts, the band stopped its progression, by disagreements about the future directions, it ended by the band separation. An important lesson was learned in this situation: Friendship, respect and Love for Iron Maiden must be the highest priority! With this philosophy in mind, Jef decides to put the band together again in 2011! Steven Bergeron, distinguished and experienced guitar player from other cover bands Classic Rock, was the first recruited. After, the guitar player Leandro Alves (Pagé) joined the band, a new arrival to Quebec from Brazil, which played in other tributes bands, mainly Metallica and Motörhead. Then it was time to Pat Lalonde join the band, bass player and singer which played in a Kiss tribute band and also in other cover bands Classic Rock. Pat got the challenge as a singer with great sucess! Math Gagnon, experienced and versatille bass player, also member of « Insurgent Inc. » joins the band! In October 2014, Maiden Québec had the privilege and the honor of being chosen as Blaze Bayley's band for his Canadian Tour. It was an amazing tour for the band, where they could share the stage with one of the Iron Maiden's former singer and also play outside Québec's province for the first time. In December 2014, Jef Rastoldo decides to take his retirement as a drummer, leaving to the band the responsability to continue his idea, keeping the same passion in this job as he did during these years. In January 2015, after 4 years the band had to face for the first time the replacement of a member. After the auditions with really skilled drummers, Maiden Québec found a new drummer Andy Leandri, who stayed with the band till July 2016. Marc Prevost joinned the band just after Andy's departure. In September 2016 Mathieu and Leandro joins Blaze Bayley for his canandian tour once again. In December 2016 another change in the line, Steve Bergeron decides to leave the band after 5 years. David Chartrand joins the band in January 2017. He stays with Maiden Québec till May 2018. Charles-Etienne Lavoie replaces David in June 2018. Everything was set for a tribute band who evoluted with a simple value: The pleasure of play and honor Iron Maiden! |
